==================================================================
On 10/04/96 at about 11:00 P.M., my fiancé, DeWayne Brasfield and I
were traveling north on Hwy 58. I was driving and we were in the right
lane of the highway. After turning the bend on Hwy 58, I l noticed the
yellow flashing lights at the intersection of Greenhill Rd. As I was
looking to my left to make a lane change, I heard a loud crash. After
hearing this, I looked ahead to my left and saw the back of the navy blue
car going into the ditch. I made a U-turn in the middle of the street,
stopped the car and put on my hazard lights. I then saw the man and the
woman get out of the silver truck, with the man getting out of the driver
seat. They were stumbling around on the road and had to hold each other
up. I thought at fist that they were in shock and delirious from the
accident. I went up to the woman and asked her if she was O.K. In
slurred words she told me that she was fine but thought that the people in
the other card needed help. DeWayne was already at the nave blue car when
I went over there. I don't know if DeWayne opened the passenger door or
if the girl that was conscience opened it, but it was open and the
passenger in the front seat was bleeding everywhere. She was in shock and
kept saying "what happened?" We asked her if she was O.K. and she told us
that her back and her neck hurt. She kept trying to get out of the car
but we told her to stay put and not move. We didn't know at first that
there was a person in the back seat until I saw something shaking in the
back seat. I didn't see her at first because she was slumped over. I
didn't think I could do anything about the driver and the back seat
passenger because they were unconscious. I just tried to console the
front seat passenger until help arrived.

After reviewing the statement I gave the Police I
would like to add several things. I heard the man say
I only had three beer and I guess its my fault. At first
I thought they were stumbling around because of the accident
but then I realized it was because of their drinking. I my
opinion they were both under the influence of alcohol.
