"Since 2004, seven of the 12 traffic deaths in Virginia on Super Bowl Sundays, or 58%, were alcohol-related, according to the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. There were no fatalities in Virginia on Super Bowl Sunday in 2003.
"Nationwide, 130 people died in crashes involving impaired drivers during the 2006 Super Bowl weekend, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
