==================================================================
I Connie Rose Young, give the following statement to Robert B. Anderson, a known
member of the Cedar Falls Police Department, of my own freewill. Everything contained herein is true to the best of my knowledge.
On 100496 around 6:30 p.m. to 6:45 P.M. my husband Craig, and I left our house to go to
Brewster's We had talked about meeting at Brewster's and we were going to meet with
the Rokes, Braun's and the Bradfords. We arrived at Brewster's close to 7:00 P.M. and
were the first ones to arrive.
The Bradfords arrived next and they arrived about 20 minutes later. The Rokes arrived
and they arrived about 30 to 45 minutes after we did. Lisa Bradford and I were talking
and my husband and Bill Bradford were talking. When the Rokes arrived Delonna came
up and started talking with us and Tracy went up to where the guys were standing.
While talking with Delonna we were mostly having just girl talk but she did talk about
her mother some.
Delonna seemed to be normal but she would get a little upset when talking about her
mother. We would get her off of the subject and she would be okay. It seemed that as
long has he wasn't thinking about her mom she was alright. I think Delonna was
drinking beer but I'm not sure how much she had to drink. I felt that Delonna was kind

of drunk by the end of the night.
I talked with Tracy Rokes several times during the night but shortly before we left we
had gone to the Celebration's side of the bar and I spent more time with him then.
Tracy Rokes was drinking beer but I'm not sure how much he had to drink. I felt that
Tracy was perfectly find and felt that he was in better condition then Delonna.
The Bradford's left the bar first and I think they left shortly before 10:30 P.M. I don't
recall when the Brauns left but when we were leaving and walking to the car I saw
Tracy and Delonna Rokes walking to their car. We left the bar around 10:45 P.M. and
drove to Mcdonald's and then went home.
On 100596 around 1:00 A.M. Delonna called me from Sartori Hospital. Delonna said
that they were at the hospital and that they were in an accident. Delonna wanted me to
make a phone call to someone, I don't remember the name, but then she realized that
number would not be listed. I asked if there was anything I could do for them and she
said no. Delonna said that they were okay.
On 100596 I called Delonna in the morning to see if I could do anything for them and
she no. Delonna didn't go into any details about the accident at this time. Craig and I
stopped over at the Rokes in the afternoon. I talked with Delonna and Tracy and
between the two of them I learned that they had taken Greenhill Road home.
We also talked about how we thought the lights at Greenhill switched to flashing at
11:00 P.M. I also remember telling Delonna that I didn't feel Tracy was drunk and that
if he was he would have asked me to drive. If I would have thought that Tracy was
drunk I would have given them a ride home.
End of Statement.
