==================================================================
On 10/04/96 at about 11:00 P.M. I was traveling southbound on Hwy 58
and was approximately 200 ft. behind a vehicle I lager learned to be an
'88 Olds Cutlass, occupied by Juli Farrell, Tammy Kleineksel and Kristina
Hill. We had a flashing yellow light at the intersection. I saw what I
later learned to be a Toyota 4Runner traveling west on Greenhill Rd. It
appeared to me this vehicle was traveling very fast. I could tell that
it was not going to stop at the flashing red light. I think the driver of
the Cutlass could tell the 4Runner was not going to stop because I saw the
break lights of the Cutlass come on. It looked like the driver of
the Cutlass tried to swerve to the right at the last minute. The driver of
the 4Runner did not try to stop unit it saw the Cutlass, which I
estimated to be right after it entered the intersection. The 4Runner
then tried to turn south on Hwy 58 to avoid hitting the Cutlass. After
the collision I turned east on Greenhill and hesitated on whether or not
I should stop. I knew that it was a serious accident and somebody needed
to call for help. I drove up to a house on S. Main St. and called 911
from there.
